Speakz stores most of your learning data — including XP, streak counts, practice sessions, and study time — directly in your browser's localStorage. This means:

• Your data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers unless explicitly stated.
• Clearing your browser data or localStorage will remove your local progress.
• We recommend syncing your account regularly to preserve your data.

We use the following third-party services to operate Speakz:

• Clerk (Authentication): We use Clerk to handle user authentication securely. Clerk's own privacy policy governs their data practices.
• Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google's servers. Google may collect usage data as described in their privacy policy.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Authentication is handled securely through Clerk.
